Few Plans Give a Better Pay-Off

Yet only a hand-full of owners have a written succession plan. A 2003 survey revealed that the average age of private and family business owners in Australia was 56 and that 7 out of 10 would leave their businesses in the next decade, yet only 1 in 10 had a written succession plan.
